- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
- Master’s degree in Social Work considered an asset
- Registered with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers or enrolled as a Social Work Candidate with the NSCSW
- Education and Clinical experience in Mental Health is required
- Experience in dementia care, geriatrics, /or long-term care, palliative care preferred
- Two to three years of relevant work experience
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge or experience with a person-centered model of care
- Must have own vehicle or access to reliable transportation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
