- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) (Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with Nova Scotia College of Social Workers (NSCSW) – For Social Work Candidates (SWCs) to be eligible for this position, they must be actively participating in their mentorship hours as required by the NSCSW)
- Trained and familiar with the WPATH Standards of Care
- Experience working with trans and gender-diverse populations
- Supportive counselling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interprofessional team
