Feb 4 – Apr 8, 2026 — We’re delighted that Jim Morton and Anne Pirie are returning to offer this 9-session intensive course about Bowen family systems theory to members of NSCSW. This course has a small cohort and seats fill fast.

Nov 25, 2025 — In advance of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, social workers, survivors, and government representatives gathered in downtown Halifax on November 24, 2025, for a pivotal conference that underscored social work’s critical responsibility in dismantling the normalization of gender-based and intimate partner violence, and championed the empowerment of survivors.
