May 22, 2025 — Mentors are at the heart of our model of development for new social workers and those rejoining the profession. Our membership is growing steadily, which means our community needs to find and support new mentors with diverse experiences and skills.

1 Feb, 2024 — During 2023, the College undertook a preliminary review of this program using a reflective thematic analysis of completed candidacy records from 2019-2022. We are pleased to be able to share the results with our members, and to announce the reinstatement of the Candidacy Committee.

Feb 24, 2023 (1PM) — Candidates who have not yet actively started the Candidacy Mentorship Program are invited to join virtual focus groups in February 2023 for a discussion about the program and what adjustments, if any, need to be made to strengthen training and preparedness to practice and protect the public.
