July 4, 2022 — The purpose of this project is to complete a comprehensive evaluation of the NSCSW’s 5 year strategic plan and use this insight as benchmark to generate a renewed strategic vision. Bids should by submitted no later than August 19.
15 December, 2021 — We’re seeking proposals for new professional development opportunities that will be delivered to members of the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers in 2022. Proposals for 2022 are encouraged to be structured in such a way that the presentation be delivered live over Zoom, with the ability to be recorded, so that members can access the content electronically.
December 2, 2021 — The theme for next year’s conference is “Social Work Leading Transformational Change in 2022.” We’re inviting presentation proposals for social workers to share their knowledge about transformational leadership in the context of our profession. The deadline for submissions has been extended to January 21, 2022.
July 15, 2021 − Our goal is that this paper generates a process of critical self-reflection that allows Nova Scotians to create space for new approaches to child welfare. We need a new way of thinking about child and family well-being. It is our hope that this paper will spark discussion and action towards this goal.
